Some of the funding has been raised by One Call Insurance's Round to a pound Initiative. This facility is an opt in donation where customers of One Call Insurance choose to round up payments made for various aspects of their policy premium to the nearest Pound. The customers of One Call Insurance donated a total of £2,195.03 to the charity, with a vow from the Founders to match and donations received.

February 2021

24th February 2021

30 Chrome Laptops Donated to Local School Farmilo Primary School to assist with Home learning during the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Following an appeal from Linda Priest, Farmilo School business manager, "We we were struggling to get hold of devices for the children to use while working from home during the lockdown, within two minutes of that appeal going out, John Radford contacted me directly and said, ‘I can help, I’ll sort some devices out.’ And that’s exactly what he did'.

We recognised that children are currently having to learn from home so the Foundation decided that it would be useful to help the school with the laptops we provided.

We’ve managed to get hold of 30 laptops, which we understand the school has found very difficult. So it was great that we were able to step in and give them that support.

They have 48% of the students at school, but the other half of the school are having to learn from home. It gives them that opportunity to continue to be educated.

18th February 2021

£15,000 donated to Mansfield Harriers Athletics Club, to help towards the cost of upgrading the floodlights.

Mansfield Harriers has children from all age groups and adults training with them, so to upgrade the floodlights and allow them to use the track during the evening,

It will enable them to have training nights and enable the local community to walk through the park more safely, as it will be floodlit.

Pat Carlan Chairman of the club  advised "It’s vital at this time as health and wellbeing is paramount. It opens up opportunities for exercise and enables people to exercise in the evening as well as the daytime.
